We help businesses make loading and unloading processes more efficient and effective with manual, semi-automated, and fully automated solutions. Our status is demonstrated by our proven and trusted technologies; we have in operation more than 1,000 automated loading systems and 500,000 manual loading systems, with a maintenance team of more than 100 engineers worldwide. We have offices on four continents and an unrivalled global network of over 35 local sales and support partners.

What will you be doing?

As a Sales Project Engineer, you are the link between technology and the customer. You work on innovative logistics systems that are used worldwide, from the initial design to delivery. You translate customer requests into smart technical solutions, develop these in 2D/3D and coordinate everything with colleagues, suppliers and (international) customers.

You are not only an engineer, but also a sparring partner. You contribute ideas, ask critical questions and dare to take initiative. Would you like to visit customers from time to time to explain your design? You will be given every opportunity to do so, but it is not a requirement.

You will be based in the Netherlands in a team of around 40 colleagues, but you will be part of a larger international group that has earned its spurs in the world of material handling. This means short lines of communication locally, but great clout worldwide.

Your tasks in brief:

  • Translating customer requirements into technical designs and project proposals.
  • Developing systems in 2D/3D (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and colleagues in the United Kingdom and abroad.
  • Coordinating work preparation, purchasing and project planning.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to product development.

What we are looking for:

  • You have experience in technical drawing and an affinity with mechanical engineering or logistics systems.
  • You think in terms of solutions, not problems.
  • You communicate easily, including in English.
  • You enjoy contributing ideas and taking initiative.
  • You do not need specific training or years of experience; we are primarily looking for the right background and interests.

What you will receive:

  • A gross monthly salary between €3,750 and €4,200.
  • A varied role with plenty of input.
  • Working in an international network with local clout.
  • Plenty of room for development and initiative.
  • An informal working atmosphere with short lines of communication and committed colleagues.
