Luuk Oostijen Mechanical Engineering is a dynamic engineering company specialising in advising, developing, designing and constructing mechanical engineering projects. Our projects vary in duration from weeks to months and include designing special machines, on-site support at a customer's premises and project supervision. We work for various clients in the mechanical engineering and process industry.

How you make projects a success
As a mechanical engineering project engineer, you are responsible for designing, developing and implementing technical projects. Within the team, you work independently to achieve the project objectives. You work closely with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to provide the best technical solutions. You are involved in the entire project process, from concept design to delivery, and ensure successful implementation within the set time and budget.
Using your expertise, you will:
- come up with engineering solutions based on customer requirements;
- maintain contact with customers and provide timely advice;
- implement improvements to existing machines;
- supervise the process during production and commissioning;
- organise the recording of progress in the process.
- In addition, you see it as a challenge to come up with solutions for the most common (complex) issues.

What do we require from you?
- You have at least an MBO 4 diploma in mechanical engineering.
- You have 1-3 years of experience in a technical production environment, preferably in mechanical engineering within a project-based environment.
- You have experience with engineering in Inventor.
- You are able to perform various calculations.
- You are a good team player and able to make decisions independently.
- You are fluent in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
Experience with engineering in Solidworks is an advantage.
